Its been over a decade since it was the "Dawn of the Third Age of Mankind" on the science fiction television show Babylon 5. While it did much for promoting epic sci fi storytelling on tv, the show was also ripe for some animated roasting.
Babylon Park was the first animated parody of the television epic, Babylon 5, with a bit of the pop culture fad of South Park thrown in for good measure. Babylon Park follows the antics of five youg beings trapped in a lonely tin can in space.
The original Babylon Park cartoons ("Episode 000" and "Frightspace") were released in 1999. "Episode 000" served as an introduction to the characters in several "clips" from never-made episodes. In "Frightspace" the stars are in perfect alignment for the Moldy Old Ones to return to conquer the galaxy and the Babylon Park crew must stop them!
With the advent of the shows Crusade and Voyager in 2000, we felt it was our duty to roast them as well. Our final video release in the series: "Spoosade versus Forager: Grudgematch" pitted Captain Gidiot against Captain Painway to determine which franchise's storyline was fit to save Earth from a nano-bot plague.
"Grudgematch" happened to land a Silver Trophy in Animation at the 2001 Telly Awards. The episode was submitted as a Non-Broadcast production amidst 11,000+ television industry entries. Special thanks to Jeffrey Willerth (Kosh, Babylon 5) for his phenominal and tireless support!

SpooHunter commercial v1.5
This was the first Babylon Park clip made (1998). It took a total of three days to put together (sans script, lyrics or storyboard). I did a slight revamp to the artwork (2004) for this version.
