VIRTUAL REALITY CYBERNET
The Virtual Reality Cybernet was developed by the military long before its limited commercial release. Since Psi Corps kept its telepaths for its own purposes, the military needed an interrogation device that was nearly as effective as a telepathic scan. The result is the VRC.
Utilizing the latest in neural interface technology and holographic projection, the VRC is a very expensive piece of equipment. Unfortunately, use of this device is risky and if used over the long-term, psychologically damaging. Since the long string of legal actions after its commercial release, the development and production of the VRC was halted. Though some VRCs are still extant, most are in the possession of criminal and intelligence organizations.
