There are at least six species of On roaming Narn. They are characterized by a massive, muscular body and hexagonal scales armoring most of the body. These fiercesome predators are among the deadliest in the galaxy. The rarest, and the most vicious is the Forktail On (or On'Vik) found in the desert and mountain regions of Narn.

 The On is the subject of many heroic legends among the Narn and to own the skin of on On is to proclaim your valor and skill as a warrior. In the (kinial system, the On is used to represent the solitary hunter.
